With the enterprise spirit of“Self-improvement for Innovation,Self-Confidence for Progress”,the core value of“Honesty, Truth-Seeking,Innovation,High-efficiency”, HMI has taken the technological advantage of the institute for developing the following specialties, i.e. hoisting machinery, hydraulic machinery, power plant auxiliary, metal structures testing and equipment supervision specialty etc.   

以能源电力“工程技术研究、高端设备研发、新材料试验与检测、工程咨询与监理、工程设计与项目总承包”为业务发展方向，以安全生产、顾客满意为质量目标，坚持科研与产业并举的战略方针，坚持“战略牵引、市场推动、资源优化、成果共享、跨越发展”的发展思路。

It is developed and guided by the business direction that includes“engineering research, R&D of the advanced equipments, new material testing and detecting, engineering consultation and supervision, engineering design and total contract of the project”with relation to energy resources and electric power. With the quality purpose of“safety production, customer satisfaction”, HMI upholds the strategic guideline of linking the research with the industry, upholds the development thinking of“hauling the strategy, driving the market, optimizing the resources, sharing the success and leapfrogging the development”.
